I would QQ for the fact that my Paragon, Dervish, Ritualist and Assassin wouldn't be able to get it.

yes yes, massive fail title yeah yeah

a) not implementing the title/emote when the implemented the Chest was fail
b) not making it retroactive when the title was added was fail(tough to do I know, but I'm making a point)
c) making this a title at all was fail

I used all but 3 Zkeys prior to the title, gave away the Creme Brule and Firewater, I just did it for fun, since the release of the title I've not gone near the chest and have sold every single one since because i refuse to be a part of this massive fail.

I'm not a super PvEer, but why in God's name they did not make a KoaBD emote and made this is beyond me when PvE people have been wanting a MEANINGFUL emote for years.

The chest was a good thing, a very good thing imo, but the shit that has spewed forth in conection to it since is just retarded

Although it's been brought up before, yet an emote for Zkeys was indeed a very bad idea. I guess if we needed any proof that GW now stands for Grind Wars, Anet was happy to provide the Z title as a proof.

PvE-ers whined that they wanted an emote that could be bought (i.e. KoaBD) and they got it... in the form of something else. Seriously, if the emote was given to KoaBD like 75% of PvE-ers wanted, you could still buy it (Wisdom, Treasure Hunter, Drunkard, (un)Lucky the list goes on). But, if they would have given KoaBD an emote, PvP would have no chance of getting it, since PvP titles (Glad, Hero, Champ) take thousands of hours to max, and there are far fewer titles.

I can sort of see where Anet was coming from, giving Zaishen an emote, because it could be obtained by both communities (buying them, or farming Balth Faction, respectively). I guess they got the idea in their heads that if PvE was given an emote, then PvP-ers would complain, even though they already have Hero, which most of the community is in agreement that Hero emote should be abolished.

tl;dr: Anet thought they could give both communities an emote, but they failed.

To get the high tier of the titles, I'd say 6+. You pretty much HAVE to GvG right now. Course you can buy it overtime but still, to get high up or max it, you do have to do something. And to even max it you'd have to do a hell of a lot. Because someone who buys that much gold will be found and banned, someone who buys little amounts at a time will still take about 6mo-1 year plus $10,000 or so that they earned in real life so hell you still earn the title, bought or not.

actually No it is not a joke it was a serious though my bad if it offends u. ... and just for the sake of ppl continually calling this a whine ass thread in some way ... again i dont really care i got my emote long before gw lost its ways , which made it special when earned, however i just felt like this title and emote is utterly rediculous and that the emote should go to those that truly deserve one for their efforts especially from the pvp P.O.V ....

This is a lie.

I've ranked many a dead players, and it happened way back when at the championships when Anet reps were AT THE TOURNY in Germany and somebody ranked somebodies corpse. I've never heard of it, I'm sure you said something that warranted the ban.

It all really depends on how the person you rank spiked took it. I'm sure if the dead person knew it was all in good fun; no harm, no foul. Although, some people take screenshots and write letters to Anet. A few people I know personally have gotten warning letters for poor sportsmanship and misusing the emote. I've never heard of anyone actually getting suspended though.

LOL i was thinking the same thing

And not very many people want emotes for stuff. Just leave the emotes to HA and zaishen title and move on. Every single time anet does something theres 80 rant threads. People anet is making GW2, they dont care, just accept new content and be thankful.

There are people in my guild who seem to be wasting all their money on this title and /zrank'ing people everywhere they go. Makes me laugh when I see them talking :
person 1:"how did you get all that gold for r5?"
person 2: walks over and ranks "noob"

If you ask me, that's really quite sad.

The only thing I have to say about this is they should have added an extra option when you open a Zchest : "Get an Item" or "Increase Zrank by an extra 5 points" so that this thing would actually work as a sink...

Pfft rank spike is so old. Its all about the dance spike now

I don't see the problem with the title to be honest. Encouraging people to PvP more is a good thing.
